We are pleased to have secured funding this year from The Brelms Trust and The Two Ridings Foundation to enable us to include some outreach performances as part of our 2024 festival.
We are excited to be working with two groups of theatre and music specialists in providing dementia-friendly performances for those who are unable to come out to our events or who have additional needs.
The wonderfully engaging Goofus Theatre will perform Carried by the Wind, a playful, non-verbal show with puppets – perfect for care settings. And opera singer and community music-makers, Nicola Mills and Maria King, will also be visiting residential homes with their pop-up concerts. Performances take place on 26 June and 4 July.

And don’t forget – A Spoonful of Julie – a tribute to Julie Andrews packed with songs and medleys – is also designed to be an accessible and relaxed day-time event. Refreshments provided too! Wednesday 4 July, 1pm.
