Come and follow the footsteps of countless pilgrims down into the ancient crypt of Saint Wilfrid.
Lit only by the guttering flame of candlelight, meet the Wanderer. An exile who has journeyed north from the stormy south coast of Manhood End.
Hear his service and be warmed by his words as you take your own journey from darkness into light.
Inspired by the Anglo Saxon poem of the same name and by Kipling’s poem Eddi’s Service.
Fell-Foss presents a special and intimate performance in the oldest structure of any English Cathedral and a place of almost continuous worship since 672.
