Twenty different community groups and local performers will be joining us over the weekend of the festival to bring music, dance, drama and colour to the city.
We are so grateful to everyone who is prepared to give up their time, bravely perform and contribute to the festival spirit. Alongside walkabout acts, street entertainment, theatre and puppetry performances from visiting professional companies, our local performers will be found indoors and outdoors across the city.
Musicians will be found busking in The Arcade and on Kirkgate, choirs and dance troupes in the Market Place, Ripon Spa Gardens and Minster Gardens and stories, poetry and drama indoors at The Little Ripon Bookshop and the Crypt at the Curzon.
And the variety is tremendous – from zumba, performance poetry, ukuleles, and drumming to belly-dancing, folk song and handbells.
Join us in supporting local creativity and celebrating the talents of all our performers!
